Octave V70SE | The Powerhouse

The V 70 SE is a line level integrated amplifier delivering 2 x 70 W peak output power. Belonging to the same family of design as the V 40 SE, the V 70 SE performs with more power. His outstanding features are control and dynamics. The V 70 SE plays Rock-and-Roll like Rock-and- Roll and celebrates Classical music with delicate grace and solid expanse.

Listening to music becomes an absolute pleasure. Like the V 40 SE, the V 70 SE benefits from the experience OCTAVE gained developing his predecessors.

Numerous improvements over the previous V 70 model form the new V 70 SE. Embedded in the larger, optimized chassis construction of the V 80, the V 70 SE now offers higher performance while the sensitive electronic circuits are better shielded against the magnetic stray field of the transformer and the mains. The mains transformer itself is a special low-noise type encapsulated in a magnetic closed box.
Die Endstufe besteht aus zwei Leistungs-Tetroden (Typ 6550 C) pro Kanal. Dank des BIAS-Regel- und Überwachungssystems ist die Verwendung anderer pin-kompatibler Ausgangsröhren möglich, um den Verstärker an den persönlichen Geschmack anzupassen oder um von neuen oder verbesserten Röhren zu profitieren.
Der V 70 SE basiert, wie alle OCTAVE-Verstärker, auf der verbesserten Pentodenkonfiguration. Diese Konfiguration gewährleistet die absolute Stabilität des Verstärkers gegenüber der instabilen Impedanz des Lautsprechers. Impedanzfehlanpassungen sind ohne Bedeutung, da der Verstärker bis zu einer Last von 2 Ohm stabil ist. Ein wichtiger Beitrag zu dieser Stabilität ist der Einzelimpedanz-Ausgangsübertrager.
