About the Ortofon MC Cadenza Blue MC cartridge
The search for better elements continues. After the successful models Ortofon Kontrapunkt and MC Jubilee, the application of new materials and winding processes has led to the MC Cadenza line. The MC Cadenza Mono has also been thought of for the avid mono enthusiasts. Cadenza is the Italian word for cadence and refers to the silence that an orchestra lets fall to let the solo instrument play.
Usually this is the moment when the soloist plays his most complex piece. The analogy with the element is easy to fill in. Microdynamics and ambiance are key words for the sound of the MC Cadenza elements.
Stylus
The Ortofon MC Cadenza Blue model uses a Nude FG 70 stylus with a very thin ruby-colored cantilever.
The coils are made of 6NX (99,9999%) pure silver wire.
An improved winding process on the anchor provides better channel balance.
The soundstage of Ortofon MC Cadenza Blue is wide open and grandiose right out of the box. Microdynamics and atmosphere will become apparent when listening to complex compositions. It achieves a very high level of definition in the perspective, which is very present.
