Super-Copper-Silver Hybrid Conductors

The four signal conductors of The NOVA are made of the highest quality ultra-pure Matched Crystal Oxygen Free Copper bundles, which are manufactured by means of a special extrusion process. In the same mechanical step, a very pure protective solid silver layer is applied.

In stark contrast to the commonly used drawn copper covered with electrolytic silver plating, this careful and advanced manufacturing process ensures maximum crystal density and contact (conductance) with no open paths for corrosive impurities to enter.

The same applies to the co-extruded protective solid silver layer, which, unlike electrolytic silver plating, contains no chemical residues; avoiding the presence of impurities and blocking their gradual ingress over time is the best defense against the degradation of sound quality.

In addition, serving as an additional layer of protection and further enhancing signal transmission properties, each conductor is embedded in a conductive layer containing our signature Linear Structured Carbon®. The conductors are therefore called “Hybrid”.
